Traces of man

This series is dedicated to the visible and invisible signs of human presence in the landscape. Every trace, whether deliberately placed or casually left behind, speaks of the relationship between humans and nature – of formation, change, and transience. The photographs show paths, trails, buildings, remains, and subtle interventions that shape the face of the environment and at the same time bear witness to past actions and histories.
From a philosophical perspective, these traces are an expression of human existence as both a part of and a shaper of the world. Humans leave behind not only material but also symbolic signs that endure across generations and make visible the constant dialogue between culture and nature. The ambivalence is evident in each photograph: traces can connect or separate, preserve or destroy, remember or allow to be forgotten.
The series invites us to pause and understand the landscape as an archive of human action. It encourages us to reflect on the responsibility associated with every intervention in nature – and on the transience of our own traces in the great cycle of time and change.
