Membranes interest me as a thin boundary between inside and outside. In these images, branches, shadows, and networks lie just beneath a pale skin that reveals only fragments of the underlying body.

Light, reflections, and fine traces outline a vascular or nervous system without the actual body becoming visible. In this way, surfaces become permeable skins through which something inside is suggested, something that cannot be fully revealed.
