In "Body Landscapes," terrain becomes skin. Surfaces of erosion, snow, and sediment display wrinkles, scars, and abrasions, much like those found on human bodies. There are no horizons and hardly any points of reference; the landscape appears as a fragmented, reclining figure.

I am interested in the moment when a seemingly abstract structure can suddenly be read as a body. This series forms the backbone of the project—here, the fundamental idea of "landscape as body" becomes most clearly visible.
