“Interventions” depicts places where the landscape is visibly under supervision: rocks held in place by chains, slopes secured with safety devices, fences, supports, and other technical interventions. The very fabric of the landscape is reinforced, fixed, or channeled.

The images oscillate between protection and confinement. I am intrigued by this ambivalence: Is it concern for the environment or control over it? The series doesn't focus on the technology itself, but rather on its imprint on the forms of nature.
